Students will learn to build and code robots capable of sumo wrestling using sensors to detect opponents. They will create robots that can perform tasks or “fight” in a controlled arena, programmed to execute movements, attack or defense strategies, and respond to sensor inputs.
Robots face off in matches following specific rules, scoring points for completing objectives or disabling the opponent. Through this process, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, coding, mechanical design, teamwork, and iterative testing skills in a hands-on, competitive, and fun environment.
Students will learn how to build and program autonomous robots powered by motors and controlled by sensors. They will learn to code robots to accomplish specific missions.
This camp experience helps students to take part in FIRST LEGO League competitions.
On successful camp completion, students can try out and become part of their school robotics team or join one of our in-house SHIVA competition teams.
